We are located in the southern area of the Riverina region of New South Wales and service the towns of Coleambally, Darlington Point, Jerilderie and surrounds.

Our Council is a fantastic place to work, with around 90 people employed in a variety of indoor and outdoor positions.

Town Plant Operator- Water and Sewage - Jerilderie

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Town Plant Operator to join our multi-skilled Water and Sewer team. Benefits of the position include:

  • Salary ranging from $50,196 to $70,120 (subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
  • Rostered Day Off scheme - 9 day fortnight (permanent, full-time employees)

Store person - Darlington Point

Full-time position

We have an exciting career opportunity for a suitably skilled person who will be responsible for receiving and issuing stores items and procurement and placing orders for goods and services.

The position is based at our Darlington Point Depot.

Planning, Community & Development Administration Officer

Full-time position with an option of part-time job sharing

Mechanic

We have an exciting career opportunity for an energetic and capable mechanic.  The Mechanic will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing Council’s vehicles, heavy plant, and other equipment to minimise downtime and enable the optimal utilisation of plant and equipment.

The servicing of plant may occur in ouncil depots and/or in the field subject to operational requirements.

This position is located at our Darlington Point Depot.

If this role appeals to you, we would like to hear from you.  Your qualifications, experience, and attributes should include:

  • Trade certificate in the appropriate mechanical field

  • MR Class driver's licence

  • WHS Construction Induction White Card

  • Forklift Licence
