We are located in the southern area of the Riverina region of New South Wales and service the towns of Coleambally, Darlington Point, Jerilderie and surrounds.

Our Council is a fantastic place to work, with around 90 people employed in a variety of indoor and outdoor positions.

Plant Operator – Jerilderie

Full time

We have openings for Plant Operators to join our multi-skilled team in Jerilderie.

Work will include construction and maintenance projects in parks and gardens, Council infrastructure and TfNSW projects.

Suitable applicants will need recent and demonstrated work experience and competent writing and communication skills.

Position location: Either Darlington Point or Jerilderie Depot

Benefits of the position include:

  • Salary ranging from $56,355 to $73,276 (subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
  • Rostered Day Off scheme - 9-day fortnight

The position is classified from Grade 4 through to Grade 7. Salary will be determined by experience, licences and qualifications within Council’s salary step progression.

Mechanic


The organisation has an exciting career opportunity for an energetic and capable Mechanic. The Mechanic will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing Council’s vehicles, heavy plant, and other equipment to minimise downtime and enable the optimal utilisation of plant and equipment.

The servicing, maintaining and repairing Council’s Vehicles and Heavy Plants may occur in Council Depots and/or in the field subject to operational requirements.

The position can be based at either Coleambally, Darlington Point or Jerilderie Depot.

  • Trade certificate in the appropriate mechanical field
  • MR Class driver's licence
  • WHS Construction Induction White Card
  • Forklift Licence
