PLANT OPERATORS - DARLINGTON POINT AND JERILDERIE
We currently have opportunities for Plant Operators to join our multi skilled team at our Darlington Point and Jerilderie Depots. If you have skills in small plant machinery, truck driving, excavators, graders, bobcat, skid steer, water truck, patching truck, loaders, any Council plant machinery, general labour, concreting or construction, we encourage you to apply.
Plant Operators undertake duties in the areas of parks and gardens, construction, maintenance of Council’s infrastructure and TfNSW projects. Suitable applicants will need recent work experience, demonstrated experience, with competent written and communication skills.
If this role appeals to you, we would like to hear from you. Your qualifications, experience and attributes should include:
Verification of Competency on allocated plant
Previous labouring experience in construction or maintenance or parks and gardens
White card (or general construction induction card)
Current Heavy Vehicle Licence e.g. LR, MR, HR, HC or MC
Proven ability to work both in a team environment and independently
The position is graded Grade 3 to Grade 7 and salary will be determined by demonstrated relevant experience, licences, certificates and other qualifications within Council’s salary step progression.
