Customer Service Administration Officer 5

This is a great opportunity to be part of the Customer Service Team to provide administrative support for customer service, reception and general administrative support to the Manager- Corporate & Community Services at the Jerilderie Office.
Conditions of employment: Local Government (State) Award 2017
A commencement salary of around $52K and located at the Jerilderie Office.
To be successful in this rewarding role you must meet the following selection criteria;

Qualifications & Experience

•    Cert III in business administration and/or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an office environment.
•    Demonstrated computing experience, including Microsoft Office suite and banking systems/software.
•    Class C drivers licence.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
•    Previous recent experience in local government or other government entities

The Media and Communications Officer is responsible for delivering a wide range of communications functions across media, publications and external / internal communications engaging with key stakeholders at all levels of Council and in the local community. Murrumbidgee Council has a vacancy for a plant operator 7 Grader Maintenance.

Location: Jerilderie Depot

Conditions of employment: Local Government (State) Award 2017

Plant Operator Grade 7 salary from $1,045 - $1,187 per week based on experience and qualifications.

Hours: 38 Hours per week and a 9 day fortnight.

Plant Operator Grade 7 Position Description

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2017 working a 38 hour week and involves working on a wide range of infrastructure in water and sewerage.

Salary: Grades 5-6, $25.68 - $29.77 per hour depending upon experience and qualifications

Conditions of employment: Local Government (State) Award 2017

A commencement salary of around $52K and flexibility with location at any Council Office will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
To be successful in this rewarding role you must meet the following selection criteria;

Qualifications & Experience
• Cert III in business administration and/or a minimum of five years of experience in an office environment.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a personal assistant to management.
• Current Class C Driver Licence;

Desirable Experience/Qualifications
• Cert IV in business administration
• Previous recent experience in local government or other government entities
• Technical qualifications or working towards obtaining a qualification
• White card (or general construction induction card) or willingness to obtain upon commencement.

Council seeks expressions of interest from enthusiastic and skilled persons to fill various short term and casual vacancies within Murrumbidgee Council’s operational workforce. These positions may be based at Council’s Depots in Darlington Point, Coleambally and Jerilderie.

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2017. Council’s indoor full time staff work 35 hours per week and full time outdoor staff work a 38 hours per week. Casuals are employed on a daily basis as required.
