Flood Recovery Hub Darlington Point

Murrumbidgee Council is hosting a Flood Recovery Hub in Darlington Point on Wednesday 7 December 2022 to help local residents, rural landholders and businesses access support services following the recent flooding event.

Murrumbidgee Council Manager Economic Development and Tourism Kellie Dissegna said the hub will be a one-stop shop for locals and businesses to access a range of assistance and support services.

Ms Dissegna said we have had a great response from support agencies, including the Rural Financial Counselling Service, Service NSW, Resilience NSW, Legal Aid and the National Emergency Management Agency.

“Additionally, Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) is bringing a number of different specialities, including Aboriginal Health, Mental Health and Health Disaster Management.

“We have also been able to secure a Japanese Encephalitis vaccination clinic through MLHD. We will be provide more details about how to book in for the clinic when available,” she said.

“For any businesses that are unable to make it on Wednesday, Enterprise Plus will be available in the Council Chambers on Monday 12 December from 10 am to 3 pm,” said Ms Dissegna.
