NSW Government Stronger Country Communities Fund

Round 5 (announced February 2023)

  • Brolga Place, Coleambally streetscape upgrades: $870,605

These individual submissions were successful:

  • Coleambally Preschool Association Incorporated: $223,523 (upgrade buildings as part of the Coleambally Preschool Early Learning Centre Project)

  • Western Riverina Arts: $123,800 (Bush Eco Art Therapy (BEAT) wellness project delivered by Kerri Weymouth and Julie Bellato)

Round 4 (announced December 2021)

  • $148,000 to revamp the Coleambally Golf Club Revamp toilet facilities
  • $51,000 to replace old vinyl flooring at the Tirkandi Aboriginal Youth Residence
  • $70,000 to upgrade Coleambally Youth Hall and create unisex facilities with a baby change area together with the construction of additional storage area with external access.
  • $348,930 towards providing public amenities for Adrian Douglas Park, Darlington Point
  • $156,500 for the Intergenerational Stories and Community Garden Project by Waddi Cultural and Heritage Centre
  • $750,000 for Monash Park netball precinct to renovate and upgrade the current grandstand and construct new change rooms and amenities

Stronger Communities Fund

The Stronger Communities Fund has been established by the NSW Government to provide councils with funding to kick start the delivery of projects that improve community infrastructure and services.
