Bendigo Bank has advised Murrumbidgee Council that its agency model of delivering banking services is no longer viable and the Darlington Point and Jerilderie agencies of Bendigo Bank will close as follows: Jerilderie – 13 October 2025 and Darlington Point – 20 October 2025. The Coleambally and Darlington Point Council Offices, Bendigo Bank Agency and Works Depot will be closed on Friday 3 October 2025 for the Annual Union Picnic Day. All facilities at Jerilderie will be open on that day.
The Jerilderie Council Office, Bendigo Bank Agency, Library, Waste Depot and Works Depot will be closed on Friday 31 October 2025 for the annual Union Picnic Day. All facilities at Coleambally and Darlington Point will be open as usual.
