Darlington Point Skate Park
Nestled within the heart of CWA Park, the Darlington Point Skate Park is a dynamic space designed for skaters of all levels.
The park features a variety of elements including smooth transitions, a central spine, a mini ramp, street-style obstacles, and a compact bowl—offering an exciting mix of challenges for riders to explore and enjoy.
Adding a striking visual layer to the space, the park’s southern and northern walls are adorned with a vibrant mural, completed in 2025 as part of a Youth Week initiative. Created by renowned artists, Playstate, in collaboration with local young people, the mural bursts with energy and colour, transforming the skate park into a lively canvas of community expression.
The artwork incorporates symbolic references to Darlington Point—subtle yet meaningful. Warm yellows, deep blues, and lush greens pay tribute to the natural beauty of the region, evoking the sandy banks of the Murrumbidgee River, surrounding gum tree forests, and native flora. Woven through the design are elements that reflect the spirit of connection, belonging, and local identity.
The CWA Park also includes a children’s playground, stop go pump track, undercover seating, BBQ's and a large grassed open area ideal for recreation, picnics or markets.
