As part of the exciting renovations to incorporate the new Darlington Point Library, the main entrance to our office has temporarily moved to the side of the building near the cenotaph. Parking remains available at the front of the building.
When: Saturday 10 October 2026. Where: affecting properties in Jerilderie Street from Brown Street to Bolton Street, Powell Street, Bolton Street and anything to the north over the Wilson Bridge. Expected to be repaired by 12 October 2026.
The much-loved 'tree of knowledge' at Monash Park will be removed in late October following a decline in its health. Council has worked with an arborist over an extended period to try to improve the tree's condition, including removing diseased sections. Unfortunately, these efforts have been unsuccessful and the tree can no longer be retained due to safety concerns.
