As part of the exciting renovations to incorporate the new Darlington Point Library, the main entrance to our office has temporarily moved to the side of the building near the cenotaph. Parking remains available at the front of the building.

The Jerilderie Council Office, Library, Waste Depot and Works Depot will be closed on Friday 6 November 2026 for the annual Union Picnic Day. All facilities at Coleambally and Darlington Point will be open as usual.
Project dates: July 2025 – June 2026
Funding: The funding allocation will be divided between this project and the Coleambally Library project. The funding comprises of $500,000 through the NSW Government Public Library Infrastructure Grant, as well as a contribution from council.
The Darlington Point library space will be established through a renovation of the council office, with new office spaces added to accommodate staff. Council is managing the project in-house, including all design and construction work, to ensure the new library meets community needs.
Murrumbidgee Council sees the dedicated library space as an important investment in supporting community engagement, education and access to knowledge for people of all ages.
