Project Engineer

Full–time position

An exciting opportunity has become available in our organisation for an Project Engineer To manage the planning, delivery and completion of Council's capital and maintenance works program, ensuring all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to required standards; to coordinate technical and design inputs across project delivery; and to assist in the delivery and administration of the Routine Maintenance Council Contract (RMCC) and other contracted works.

The position can be based at either the Coleambally, Darlington Point or Jerilderie Office.

You will be a high achiever with:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, OR a Diploma in Project Management or Building and Construction Management with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in the field.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure programs and capital works.
  • Proven Project Management experience.
  • Strong financial management and budgeting experience.
  • Highly developed communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
