Coleambally two day motorcross coaching school
MXRD will be holding a 2 day rider development and endorsement training school At Coleambally motocross track on the 18/19th May. This school will be open to any rider needing a kickstart/ endorsement completed or any rider wanting general coaching and wanting to improve there skills and be safer on the bike prior to race season.

Sir John Monash Dinner & Lecture
This years event will see guest speaker Michael Bennett present. Michael is a consultant director with Escient, an Australian digital and business advisory firm, and board member of the Spirit of Australia Foundation.
He leads and delivers consulting services to organisations in the telecommunications, banking & finance, government, education and health sectors. He holds a BSc from Monash University and a Master of Management from the University of Melbourne.
Michael is a member of the General Sir John Monash Foundation, and Chairman of their Scholarships Selection Panel in Victoria. The John Monash Scholarships are Australia’s own postgraduate scholarships, with the aim to foster leadership, expertise and build Australia’s capabilities for the future.

The Yanko Historic Store Open Day
Please find attached an invitation to the Opening of the recently restored Old Store at The Yanko, situated 25 kms north of Jerilderie.
Join us on Monday 21 October , to celebrate the restoration of the Old Store and installation of interpretative displays.
The solid two-story brick store was constructed in the 1870s to a high standard and included all the facilities needed for the daily operations of Yanko station. This included a shop supplying non-perishable goods, a post office, bookkeeper’s office, livery, gaol and later a telephone exchange.
This two-phase project involved restoration of the Old Store through drainage improvements, repair of brick work, external painting of doors and windows and replacing the roof. Phase two developed an interpretation and display area for visitors in three of the Old Store rooms and an education package for school groups.
The Open day runs from 10.00am to 12.30pm and includes entry to interpretation rooms, morning tea and opportunity to learn about the history of Yanko Station.
Owners and managers of local heritage items are encouraged to attend to gain an insight into the different approaches needed for a working on a heritage building.
The opening is part of the Yanko Store restoration project supported by the NSW Government through the Heritage Near Me program.

The Jerilderie Flower show will be held once again by the Jerilderie Uniting Church Fellowship.
The towns most beautiful flowers and cookery will be on display as well as market stalls and entertainment items from the local children.
Entries open from 8.30am, closing at 11.30pm.
A beautiful morning tea and lunch will be available with the official processdings begining from 2pm with the opening and announcement of TIdy Towns Awards.

Jerilderie Mid-summer Bash!
Jerilderie is set for an afternoon of fun on Saturday 21 December with the Mid-summer Bash at the swimming pool, hosted by Murrumbidgee Council.
Activities include a large adult-size inflatable slip ‘n’ slide, a variety of games and activities, and also a free sausage sizzle.
The Mid-summer bash will be run from 1-5 pm
It is funded through the Rural and Regional Youth Participation Grants.
