Fun Day Out Planned for Murrumbidgee Council Youth

7 March 2017  - Media Release

National Youth Week is an important opportunity to celebrate the achievements, vitality and strength of young people 12-25 years, and to acknowledge their positive contribution to our communities.

To celebrate Youth Week 2017, Murrumbidgee Council has arranged a day out for its younger residents at Shepparton’s Go Jump indoor trampoline park on Saturday 1 April.

General Manager Craig Moffitt said the bus trip to Shepparton would be a great day out.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for our youth to get together,” Mr Moffitt said.   “It should be a lot of fun, and I encourage young people within our three towns to put their names down for the bus trip.

“Youth Week is an opportunity for us to celebrate and acknowledge our region’s future leaders.”

A bus will depart from Darlington Point at 8am, Coleambally at 8.30am and Jerilderie at 9.30am, with estimated return times from 4.30pm to Jerilderie.

Put you name down at any of the branch offices by Friday 17 March or call 1300 676243 for more information.
