As part of the NSW Government’s commitment to a strong and sustainable local government system, the Local Government Amendment (Planning and Reporting) Act 2009 was assented to on 1 October 2009.

Murrumbidgee Shire Council actively encourages members of the public/community to take the opportunity to make comments on items placed on public exhibition.

At the Ordinary Meeting of Council on May 11, Council endorsed for exhibition the draft Delivery Program 2013/14 - 2016/17 incorporating the Operational Plan (Budget) 2016/17 and draft Ten Year Long Term Financial Plan 2016/17 to 2024/25 and Draft Fees and Charges for 2016/2017.
