Murrumbidgee Council is well catered for with its many sporting and recreational facilities.
Jerilderie Sports Stadium/Swimming Pool - Ph: (03) 5886 1200

The Jerilderie Sports Stadium includes the Swimming Pool Complex and Gymnasium as well as providing an indoor stadium for basketball, netball, volleyball, gymnasium, badminton, racquet-ball, halfcourt tennis, two squash courts, and general ancillary amenities.
The Jerilderie Sports Stadium was funded and constructed by the Apex Club at a cost of $400,300 (Apex $370,000, Jerilderie Shire Council $30,000), and was officially opened in 1984.
GymnasiumThe Jerilderie Gym operates under the management of Council. As this is an unsupervised facility, a waiver is required to be signed at the Council office in Jerilderie. Members are also required to hire a fob for $50 to access the gym, this fee is refundable upon return of the fob.
Membership fees for 2016/17 are as below:
Monthly Membership: $25
Annual Membership: $235
Fob deposit: $50 (refundable upon return)

The race track and showground has in the past undergone major capital improvements including the new Grandstand/bar, pavilion, turfing, extension and re-railing of the race track.
This facility, like most others under the Council's control is maintained by the Council and user bodies. The Jerilderie Race Club holds its annual race meeting in September each year.

A lush 18 hole golf course tempts the visiting golfer. Its fairways intertwine with the Billabong Creek, adding a degree of difficulty, particularly in those winter months.
The Sports Club also boasts 4 new all weather Tennis courts with lighting for weekly tennis competitions. There is also a new Bowling synthetic LawnGreen. The licensed Club house also offers restaurant meals 7 nights per week.
Monash Park - Jerilderie Recreation Oval
Monash Park is the hub of sporting activity in Jerilderie. It hosts the football/cricket ground, cricket training nets, two netball courts and a playground for the littlies.
The amenities available for the players and patrons are of the highest standard.
Murrumbidgee Council has three public pools, Coleambally, Darlington Point and Jerilderie.
